Our research and development is focused on two areas: Continuous innovation to create values for end users and contribute to environment protection through energy efficiency. For the past 10 years, we have developed over 2,000 SKUs, of which some SKUs are developed for 20 models of vehicles for the automobile factory, 70 SKUs are designed by ourselves and 20 patents that focus on energy conservation and environment protection.
With analysis and data of over 2000 applications, it makes efficient design process possible. In as little as 3 days, we can provide several design schemes that helps broaden the forward development process design options.

WONH has been practicing “green operation” since 2006. We take low-carbon and other environmental protection into our daily operations, and achieved effective improvements and measurable benefits.
We advocate nature temperature in our offices. Each office has its own air conditioner instead of a centralized air conditioner. The air conditioner only runs when the temperature is below 5 ℃ or more than 28 ℃.
We advocate natural light in our offices and public areas with voice and light control switch. Light switch in our standard office unit controls no more than three energy-saving lights. We try to reduce artificial light power as much as possible.
We advocate minimize office supply consumption. Paperless office platform was introduced in 2006. The approval of most of our internal processes are done electronically. The approval process is convenient and easy to file. We place PLM query terminal directly in the production site. It replaces all paper technical drawings. This change helped saving 1140 kgs of printing papers in one year. The saving is equivalent of 190 20 year old trees.
We promote reasonable usage of office supplies. The company developed an office supply approval system to minimize unnecessary consumption of office supplies. We focus on recycle uses like replace ink or recharge toners to promote “make the best use of” thinking.
We apply ISO14000 environment system certification standards. We established the environmental management committee to set energy-saving and emission reduction targets. We put these targets to each department’s annual performance evaluation for periodic assessment. When evaluating business profit, carbon dioxide emissions are also being measured. We encourage the use of fewer natural resources to have minimal environmental impact.
The environmental requirement of green low carbon is also being implemented by our alliance partners. We signed waste recycling agreements with qualified recycling company to ensure the process meet environmental requirements. Starting from 2011, we signed with our major supplies purchase agreements that emphasis on social responsibility and environmental production. The terms of the contract include compliance with labor condition, safety and health, environmental protection, no child labor, respect human rights and personality, proper management of chemical substances, etc.
